THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL WORK FROM THE SHELTER, INC. OFFICE IN CONCORD, CA FIVE DAYS PER WEEK.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Development will expand SHELTER, Inc.’s network of relationships, resources, reputation, and program visibility/name recognition in order to increase its ability to fulfill its mission, vision, and values. The Director of Development will create the annual strategy and development plan for a team that meets annual goals for individual giving, corporate and institutional gifts, events, and community relations.

LOCATION

On-Site position

  • Successful candidate will work from the SHELTER, Inc. office in Concord five days a week

SALARY/BENEFITS

  • Salary range is $140,000-160,000

  • Benefits include:

○      100% of employee health insurance premium and 50% of the dependent’s premium for base plan offerings

○      100% of employee dental and vision premium and 50% of the dependent’s premium

○      All full-time employees of SHELTER, Inc. are enrolled in Group Life and Disability Insurance on the date of hire.
These benefits are 100% paid by SHELTER, Inc.

○      Employee Assistance Program to assist with events such as parenting, caregiving, relocation, and college

○      Tax Deferred 403(b) Retirement Plan with a matching program after the first year

○      Flexible Spending Account & Commuter Benefits Plan

○      Fifteen paid holidays per year

○      Eighteen PTO days accrued during year one
