 THIS POSITION ISA BASED IN SAN FRANCISCO, CA. IT IS REMOTE BUT THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST RESIDE IN THE BAY AREA.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Alliance for Girls (AFG) seeks a dynamic, visionary, and strategic Executive Director (ED) to build on 10 years of impact and move the organization to its next chapter. The ED carries primary responsibility for the strategic vision, fundraising, and sustaining the coalitions and partnerships that are the work of AFG. The ED will work closely and collaboratively with the Board of Directors and staff to provide compassionate leadership and advocacy for AFG.

  • Compassionate relationship builder with a talent for partnering with diverse leaders and stakeholders.

  • Dynamic, visionary strategist who is passionate about the mission.

  • Tenacious, community-centric director who endeavors to understand the needs of girls and gender expansive youth.

  • An experienced major gifts and institutional fundraiser with a passion for engaging donors in the mission.

SALARY/BENEFITS

  • Salary range is $150,000 - $175,000

  • Benefits include:

    ●       Medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% coverage of premiums

    ●       34 days of paid vacation and sick days: 10 days’ vacation, 10 sick days, national holidays, and the week between Christmas and New Years Day

    ●       4.5 day work week with half day Fridays 

    ●       Flexible schedule (some staff work from 7 am - 3 pm) and hybrid work model

    ●       $50 wellness stipend per month

    ●       $50 cellphone and technology use stipend per month

    ●       $500 for professional development per year

    ●       401K program: AFG provides a Safe Harbor Program (non-elective) contribution of 3% of compensation to all eligible employees
